Force Gurkha directly competes with the Maruti Suzuki Jimny and Mahindra Thar in the Indian market. But in both of them you do not get manual differential lock which is a boon for off-roading lovers.

Force Gurkha

Force Gurkha is available in the Indian market at a price of Rs 15.10 lakh ex-showroom. Gurkha comes with a 4 seater layout in which you are going to get an offroading cabin like inside, not much electronics has been used. It has been designed for an offroader.

In the cabin, you get a simple dashboard with a complete black theme, in which you get the facility of Android Auto and Apple CarPlay with a 7-inch touch screen infotainment system. The SUV comes with manual AC controls, 4 speaker sound system, front power windows, 4×4 lift, captain seats for all passengers.

In terms of safety, two front air bags, ABS with EBD, and rear parking sensor are provided. However, it offers much less features compared to Maruti Jimmy and Mahindra Thar.

Force Gurkha Engine Specifications

Under the bonnet, it is powered by Mercedes’ 2.6 liter diesel engine that generates 90ps of power and 250Nm of torque, it is offered only with a 5 speed manual gearbox. Apart from this, it offers features like Lorenz transfer and manual front and rear differential lock as standard.

Force Motors is going to introduce its five door version in the Indian market very soon, apart from this it will also be offered in 7 seater and 13 seater versions.
